About keyholders

A keyholder is someone who has an electronic key.  A keyholder may be one of the following:

Agents. Agents are real estate agents.

Non-member Agents. Non-member agents are licensed real estate agents who are not a member of the organization.

Affiliates - Legacy. Affiliates are people other than real estate agents who tend to be affiliate members of the organization and require access to a listing (for example, a home inspector). Affiliate members can only receive affiliate keys, which are programmed to require Call Before Showing (CBS) codes.

Keyholder status

A keyholder's status determines whether or not the keyholder can login to SupraWEB or KIMvoice, or perform an eSYNC with their key. Keyholder statuses include the following:

Active. The keyholder is in good standing and can interact with SupraWEB, KIMvoice, and eSYNC their key.

Inactive. The keyholder is no longer part of the association / MLS (for example, an agent moves to another state) and cannot interact with SupraWEB, KIMvoice, or eSYNC their key.

Hold. The keyholder is part of the association / MLS but is not in good standing and cannot interact with KIM.

Office status

Office status is similar to keyholder status, but applies to all keyholders in an office.
