Downgrade key
To change an eKEY or an XpressKEY to an ActiveKEY or DisplayKEY, click
Upgrade / Downgrade Key from Common Tasks on
the SupraNET homepage.
Part I: Unassign the Key
- Use the Upgrade/Downgrade:
Unassign: Search For Key screen fields to search for the key
you want to replace and click Continue.
- On the Upgrade/Downgrade:
Unassign: Select Reason screen complete the following:
- Select from the Reason for Unassigning Key
field.
- Select the status of
the key to replace from the Key
Status field.
- If you unassign an ActiveKEY,
DisplayKEY, or shelled eKEY that is present and operational, connect the
key to the SupraNET computer.

CAUTION: Never remove a key from the programming base
when the card light is on.

- ActiveKEY.
Connect the ActiveKEY to the SupraNET computer using a USB cable.
- DisplayKEY
or shelled eKEY. Place the key in the programming base so the contacts
on the top of the key align with the contacts on the programming base.
For a shelled eKEY, place the device in the shell, turn off the device, and
close the eKEY application.
- Click Continue.
Note:
If you are downgrading a shelled eKEY using the programming base,
SupraNET prompts to turn on the shell.
Part II: Assign an ActiveKEY or DisplayKEY
- Use the Upgrade/downgrade:
Assign key: Search for key screen, to search for a DisplayKEY
to assign the keyholder. To view all available ActiveKEY or DisplayKEY devices,
search with a of New or
Used and click Continue.
- Select a DisplayKEY or
ActiveKEY to assign to the keyholder by selecting the record from the
search results.
- On the Upgrade/downgrade:
Assign key: Select options screen, complete the following:
- Select whether or not
this is a training key from the Is
this a training key? field. Choose Yes
or No.
- Select whether the
keyholder would like to purchase insurance from the Would
the keyholder like to purchase insurance? field. Choose Yes or No.
- Click Continue.

- A summary of applicable
fees displays. Review the charges, and then click Continue.
Note:
If the keyholder is past due and does not
wish to pay the balance at this time, deselectYes,
from the Keyholder wishes to pay past due option before you
click Continue.
- Enter/confirm the keyholder's
billing address, and then click Continue.
- Enter/confirm the keyholder's
payment information, by one of the following:
Credit
/ Debit Card. Enter the card number and expiration date or swipe
the card through the transaction machine.
Cash Payment.
Select this option to bill the fees to the Association/MLS. The keyholder
pays the Association/MLS directly, and the Association/MLS then pays Supra.
Note: This option requires
the Association/MLS to set up an account for Supra to bill. For more information,
see Update owner information.
- Enter the credit/debit
card number for the recurring fee, or click the Use
same card option to charge the same card specified for the
initial fee.
- Click Continue.
The new Keyholder Lease Agreement,
Exhibit A form, receipt,
and Change/Cancellation
form are generated.
- Complete the following:
- To add the keyholder's
signature. Click Add Digital Signature
to have the keyholder sign the transaction machine, or check the Keyholder has read and accepts the terms
of these documents option if you are unable to use the transaction
machine.
- To email a copy of
a document, click Email Copies.
- To view or print a
document, click the View / Print link.
- Click check Keyholder
has read and agreed with Terms and Conditions and click Continue.
The
system displays a completion message and prompts to select the next
task.
